Since I became a Realtor in 1998 I have consistently served in my local association, The Realtor Association of the Greater Pee Dee, and hold the office of President, 2007. I quickly became involved on the state level of the South Carolina Association of Realtors and am a graduate of the 2006 LeadershipSCAR class that allows me to interact with dynamic Realtors throughout our state. I am very proud of the Realtor profession. Every Realtor is held to a high standard of ethics and we constantly strive to improve.

On a personal level, I have been married for 38 years and we have one adult son. Although I worked for a large corporation as a Customer Representative before my son arrived, my interest was always in interior design. From 1978 until 1998 I dabbled in several jobs, always being my own boss. I owned several antique shops, worked as an interior designer, and bought and sold a few homes that I remodeled. I did these jobs part-time while I was a full-time mom. Moving into real estate seemed to be a natural progression. I think my background has helped me help my clients. What I love most about my job is meeting and getting to know the people. I feel honored to help a client with such an important task as finding a new home or selling their current one. Whatever the cost of the property, I pride myself in giving the same level of service to everyone.
